Information Collection & Use

Simplified IT Products, LLC is the sole owner of the information collected. Information collected will not be shared or sold to any third parties without prior permission.

Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).

We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

Uses of Information

PictureKeeper.com is an eCommerce site used for the purposes of finding out information on our products and for the consumer to purchase the Picture Keeper products. Your credit card, telephone number and address information is used to verify your identity and to fulfill your order only. Additionally, the information gathered during the signup for a backup reminder collects personal information, such as email address, in order to provide this service.

Personally identifiable information

We DO NOT Share Personally Identifiable Information with Third Parties, except for cases outlined in the External Information Processing section below.

External Information Processing

We provide personal information to our trusted service providers for the sole purpose of enabling certain user-facing software features. This personal information is stored securely and confidentially in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate security measures. For example, our Manual Backup feature uses external cloud storage services to temporarily store user data and enable transmission of data between a user's own devices. The user can request deletion of files stored on these cloud services at any time. Furthermore, the data is automatically deleted after 30 days. As another example, our Photo Tools features use external image processing services to generate modified versions of a user's photos. These external services delete the user's data shortly after processing is complete.

Agents

We sometimes use an outside shipping company to fulfill orders and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies DO NOT retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.

Service Providers

We use Shopify's platform (http://www.shopify.com) to provide Webhosting and Klaviyo http://www.klaviyo.com to provide Email Marketing for our site. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

The Picture Keeper software's use of information received from Facebook APIs will adhere to Meta Platform Terms, including the Limited Use requirements. All data received from Facebook will only be stored on user's own device. Following our FAQ article to delete your personal data from your device.

The Picture Keeper software's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Choice/Opt-out

We provide you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes, when we ask for this information. For example, if you purchase a product/service but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from us, you can indicate your preference on our order form at Checkout.

If you no longer wish to receive our reminder service/newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at marketing@picturekeeper.com.

Log Files

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes and ease of use. We do use cookies on this site. Please note: We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by emailing our Customer Support at support@picturekeeper.com.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or phone number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Business Transitions

In the event Simplified IT Products, LLC goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

Changes in this Privacy Statement

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.

Return Policy

If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with Picture Keeper, you may return it to us for a full refund within 30 days of date of purchase. Picture Keeper offers a one-time 30-day money back guarantee to new customers that are original purchasers of the Picture Keeper. If you are such a purchaser and would like to return the Picture Keeper drive within 30 days of purchase, please contact us at support@picturekeeper.com or 877-382-0949. Please include your order number in the subject of the email.

Upon verifying your proof of purchase, we will send you Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) instructions on how to return the Picture Keeper drive. All returns must be in "as shipped" condition (meaning the same condition as when it shipped to you and returned to us in sufficient packing materials (a small bubble mailer will suffice). Returns will not be accepted for any Picture Keeper drive that are damaged in any way, including, without limitation, damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described, damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Picture Keeper or an authorized reseller. Accepted returns will be given back to you in the payment form of which you initially paid for the Picture Keeper drive no later than 30 days after receipt of the return. All shipping charges are not refundable.

Shipping and Delivery Information

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

When your order is processed and shipped, our shipping software will automatically send a message to the email address with which your order was placed. This email will contain the order information details, including the DHL, USPS, FedEx, or UPS tracking number.

Please allow up to 24 hours for any tracking information to appear. You can also track your package by clicking the tracking number link within the confirmation email. If you experience any issues throughout this process, please call or email us at support@picturekeeper.com and let us know. We are happy to assist you in any way that we can!

Free shipping is valid for U.S. shipping addresses only. Shipping is only available to locations in the U.S.

TRACKING SHOWS THAT MY PACKAGE HAS NOT MOVED FOR MORE THAN 5 DAYS?

Call or email us ASAP @ 877-382-0949 or support@picturekeeper.com! We are happy to assist you in getting to the bottom of the situation and will re-ship your order, if applicable!

TRACKING SAYS IT IS DELIVERED BUT I NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM?

First, check around your house; look around each door, in your mailbox, on the side of the porch, between the screen and front door to make sure it was not delivered to an unusual place. If that does not produce the missing package, call your local Post Office and ask about the shipment, providing the tracking number that was emailed to you.

If the Post Office cannot help you locate the package, please let our support team know. Email orders@picturekeeper.com or call us at 877-382-0949 to speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. You will need to fill out, sign and email an affidavit stating that you never received the package in order to move forward with the claim process.

DO YOU SHIP TO P.O. BOXES?

Yes, we do! We have shipping options to P.O. boxes.

MY PACKAGE LOOKS OPEN. IS IT BROKEN?

Shipping carriers are not always as gentle with shipments as we would prefer. If the packaging looks damaged, please insert the Picture Keeper drive into your device and give it a try. It should still work perfectly.

However, if the damage to the packaging is severe, we want to know about it! Please take a picture of the state the package arrived in and send it in an email to orders@picturekeeper.com.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY ADDRESS?

Each new order requires the submission of a shipping address; we do not keep any customer addresses on file. If you have already submitted an order, and realize the incorrect address was given, please call or email us at support@picturekeeper.com or 877-382-0949 ASAP to provide the correct address, before your order is processed and shipped.

I'M MOVING....WHAT DO I DO?

We are happy to place any orders on hold until you are safely able to receive them. Please call us at 877-382-0949 or email us at support@picturekeeper.com to request the hold. Be sure to include the date on which you will be ready for the order to ship. Remember, we are also able to ship to PO Boxes, if that is an alternative option that is available to you.

HOW DO I COMBINE SHIPMENTS?

If you have placed multiple orders and wish to combine them, please email or call us ASAP at 877-382-0949. We will combine your orders to ship in one package.

Picture Keeper reserves the right to revise or eliminate this program at any time. Purchases will be governed under the terms and conditions in effect at the time of the sale.

Unless covered under other contractual agreement, the following applies to all consumer customer returns:

You must pay shipping costs for all shipments from you to Picture Keeper.
You credit card will be credited within 48 hours of receiving your return. Note: Some credit cards companies take 3-5 maybe even 7 days to post the credit to your account.

Note: Please use a method with ability to trace shipment. Picture Keeper is not responsible for shipments for which the carrier cannot provide proof of delivery.

Picture Keeper is not responsible for loss or damage during transit. We suggest that you purchase freight insurance on your shipments.
NO COLLECT SHIPMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED without prior authorization from Picture Keeper. Shipments arriving at Picture Keeper with charges due are subject to being returned (unrepaired) with all charges, including return expenses, due and payable by the originator.
You are responsible for saving or backing up data contained in any product returned to Picture Keeper. PICTURE KEEPER WILL HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUCH DATA AND WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF ANY DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF SUCH DATA WHILE THE PRODUCT IS IN PICTURE KEEPER'S POSSESSION.

Replacement Product Notice - Your original product will NOT be returned to you.

Replacement products are factory-repaired products.
Replacement products carry the greater of: original warranty balance or 90 days.
Delivery is during normal business hours to the address you provide.
All data and software on your returned product(s) will be lost.

Picture Keeper reserves its right to exercise all of its legal rights in connection with fraudulent returns.
